Lek, a Sandoz company, among the most reputable employers in Slovenia
As a part of the annual career fair Moje Delo 2011, the awards were conferred to the most reputable Slovenian companies according to an ‘Employer Reputation 2011’ survey. The survey is conducted by the recruitment portal MojeDelo.com (MyJob.com) biannually. This year’s survey is the third in a row and Lek, a Sandoz company, has been for the third time placed in the group of the most reputable employers in Slovenia.
Samo Roš, Head of Human Resources and Member of the Lek Board of Management, said upon receiving the award: »We are delighted to be positioned among the most reputable employers by the candidates in the labour market and that our efforts in this area are recognized. Employment at Lek, a Sandoz company, namely offers many career development opportunities in Slovenia and a unique opportunity to work in international development and research teams in the field of pharmacy. Nearly three thousand respondents took part in the survey
For the MojeDelo.com recruitment portal, the survey was prepared by Dr Marko Pahor from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, and Dr Valentina Franca from The Faculty of Management Koper. In the survey, the reputation of companies or their employer brand equity was determined with the help of the so called reputation quotient which is based on the combination of three criteria and can have values from 0 to 1. The first criteria is company recognition among candidates in the labour market, the second criteria is considering the organisation as a potential employer among the candidates and the third one represents the so called level of being an employer of choice, which means that for candidates in the labour market the organization is the first choice potential employer and is very attractive for them.
»Based on the combination of these three criteria, the companies were selected that, according to the opinion of nearly 3,000 respondents, were most attractive among candidates in the labour market and consequently most respected. They all achieved the reputation quotient value of 0.81 or more and in all three parameters achieved nearly optimal values,« explained the MojeDelo.com portal.
