Lek, a Sandoz company, was awarded the  "Family Friendly Company" certificate by the Institute for Labor and  the Ministry of Labor. This is an acknowledgement of Lek's commitment to  improving the work-life balance of its people.

"Receiving the Family Friendly Company certificate is an acknowledgement of our efforts to create a working environment that supports both the professional and private lives of our people. At Lek, we recognize the importance of balance in life and strive to create and maintain a working environment based on the satisfaction and wellbeing of our associates. Our purpose is not only to pioneer access for patients, but also to support our people at the leading edge," said Gregor Makuc, Head Corporate Affairs and Member of the Lek d.d. Board of Management.

Lek demonstrates its commitment to creating a work environment that is friendly to its associates and their families through a number of family-friendly practices. Associates for whom their work allows it have the option of working from home and flexible hours, with a choice of start and finish times. The company also organizes special family days for the families of its associates at all Lek sites.

Associates also receive additional benefits. The Energized for Life wellbeing program helps associates achieve a healthy work-life balance, and the company also offers a range of educational, professional and personal development opportunities in a global pharmaceutical company.

Lek has received a total of four full Family Friendly Company certificates, and in 2022, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the certificate, they received a special award as representatives of the first generation of recipients.
