Lek successfully underwent regular FDA inspection
In the premises of Lek Pharmaceutical and Chemical Company a regular FDA inspection has recently been performed, checking the conformity of active pharmaceutical ingredients and products with the valid regulations in the US market.
The inspection has been carried out for the active pharmaceutical ingredients marketed by Lek in the US market. Its results enable Lek to further sell its active pharmaceutical ingredients in this market. At the same time, this means the first consolidation stage of Lek’s sales to the USA.
Lek believes that the sales of active pharmaceutical ingredients to the USA will reach an estimated sum of US$ 7 to 8 million in 1999, while they are planning an increase in the sales of active pharmaceutical ingredients in this market for the year 2000.
