Lek in cooperation with the Asthma and Sports Association, BTC and ultra-marathon cyclist Marko Baloh held the 4th annual charity spinning marathon in order to help children with asthma.

The 10-hour spinning marathon was held at the Ljubljana Fairgrounds on Saturday, January 24, from 9 am to 7 pm as part of the Tourism and Leisure Time fair.

Marko, who overcame asthma as a child and encountered it again as an adult, was joined on the stationary bikes by some of his athlete friends: the team of Lek cyclists with whom Marko rode around all of Slovenia with last year as part of an asthma awareness campaign, the Polet magazine cycling team, judoist Sašo Jereb, gymnast Mitja Petkovšek, rower Jani Klemenčič and ultra-marathon cyclist Jure Robič.

All of the participants contributed 10 euros for each hour they rode. Through these funds and the donations provided by Lek and BTC, the Asthma and Sports Association will organize free swimming for children with asthma.
