Omeprazol
Announcement in accordance with the provisions of Article 66 of the Securities Market Act-1 and Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d., Ljubljana
As the District Court in New York issued a decision in the patent dispute Astra Aktiebolag et.al. versus Andrx, Genpharm, Cheminor and KUDCo establishing that the first three of the above mentioned companies that have requested a permit to sell a generic product Prilosec infringed two Astra patents based on the omeprazol formula and as Lek Pharmaceuticals d.d., Ljubljana as a defendant is involved in a similar legal dispute,
that with regard to the above-stated the company is expecting the judicial procedure in which also Lek d.d. is involved to continue and therefore the company is reviewing and evaluating possible effects of the above-mentioned court decision.
In accordance with the provisions of the Securities Market Act-1 the company has already informed the Securities Market Agency about the aforementioned details.
