Lek, a Sandoz company and a leading producer of generics and biosimilars, has once again received the Best of the Best award for business practice, presented by AmCham Slovenia. The members of the jury and the votes cast selected Lek’s Youth Advisory Board initiative as the best among the three finalists.

AmCham Slovenia’s Best of the Best program has been organizing for the tenth year and was conceived as a guide, inspiration and aid in transferring new knowledge and positive business experiences. This year, Lek participated in the competition with the Youth Advisory Board or YAB initiative, whose  goal is to contribute to the professional and business development of the  company. This creates an interdisciplinary community that promotes new ways of thinking. YAB is in its fourth year of operation and we are proud to receive more and more applications every year.

"We are extremely proud to have been selected as a winner of the Best Business Practice Award for the second time in a row. With the Youth Advisory Board, we have managed to build a truly close-knit community of young talented individuals who meet regularly with the company's top management, share best practices and contribute with their original ideas to help our company set trends and open up new development opportunities through innovation. All members proactively contribute to the strategic ways of thinking and propose innovative solutions for reaching business goals and the company’s overall development," stated YAB Lead, Irenej Jerič.

In addition to Lek, the Best of the Best super finalists also included the company Mega M for its smart solutions to effective energy management, as well as the Triglav insurance company together with AMZS for their joint project offering refresher driving courses for the elderly.
