Development Center Slovenia receives Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Excellence Award
The PHARM Connect Congress, the market-leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing business summit for Central East Europe, presented the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Excellence Awards for the seventh time in a row. This year, our associates from Development Center Slovenia impressed the jury once again with their project Highly potent products – from vision to reality, and won the 7th CEE Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Excellence Award.
Our associates at the Development Center Slovenia work with a wide range of active substances in their laboratories, so their vision in setting up the new laboratories was to ensure that they are handled safely and with the help of state-of-the-art technologies. After a successful implementation, the excellence of their project was also recognized by the PHARM Connect Congress jury, who bestowed on our associates the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Excellence Award.
The award was presented to Luka Peternel, Head Pharmaceutical Development, on behalf of the team from Development Center Slovenia, Engineering, QA and HSE. "Awards like this inspire and motivate us time and time again. They give us even more confidence and courage to achieve breakthrough innovations and not only show but realize our full potential. We are immensely proud of the award and it will certainly encourage us to take on new challenges with even greater enthusiasm," said Luka Peternel upon receiving the award.
Successful projects are always the result of teamwork, and the associates involved in this award-winning project stress the need to continue to foster the development of new knowledge, as well as to optimize and digitize work processes and invest in new technologies, since this is the only way to be successful in our work and to turn our vision into reality.
