47 Labor LWDR Lost Time Work-Day Rate 65 is an indicator defining employee sickness absence due to work-related accidents. It is calculated by using the following formula: LWDR = num- ber of lost days x 200,000 / number of worked hours. For Lek d.d., the LWDR value for 2012 reached 2.77, an increase over the year before (an all-time low of 1.59), mainly reflecting a severe work-related accident requiring prolonged sick leave. Calculation formulas: LTIR = number of lost-time injuries (work related injury or illness resulting in unfitness for work) x 200.000 / total hours worked. TRCR = total recordable case rate (first-aid criteria exceeded) x 200.000 / total hours worked. Additional recordingof hazardousoccurrencesandnearmisses is also performed. In high-risk organizational units, walkthro- ugh inspections with senior managers on site are performed and safety meetings are held. In case of minor accidents, we implement the alternative work system, a decision on such work being on the part of the individual employee. Work-re- lated injuries were mainly due to employees' inattention and carelessness.
