Lek is the most reputable employer in Slovenia

  • The participants in a survey measuring the reputation of employers and carried out by the recruitment portal MojeDelo.com, have recognised Lek as the most reputable employer in 2019.
  • Lek, which has ranked amongst the top reputable employers in all previous surveys, has received the title of the most reputable employer for the second time.
  • The company acknowledges that empowered, curious and inspired associates are a key driver in achieving business success.

Lek, which is a part of Novartis, has received the prestigious title of the most reputable employer. This title has been bestowed to Slovenian employers by the recruitment portal MojeDelo.com for ninth consecutive years. This year, the reputation measuring survey has been carried out for the first time in cooperation with the leading European company in the field of employer brand management, the Swedish company Universum Global.  

In this year’s survey, more than 19,000 respondents took part, including professionals (academic and non-academic) and students, who were assessing the reputation of Slovenian employers according to the following criteria: knowledge of a company as an employer, considering a company as a potential employer, the attractiveness of a company as an employer, potential applications for open jobs positions in a company and the most common associations that respondents ascribe to each employer. Lek, which ranked among the top reputable employers in all previous surveys, received the title the most reputable employer for the second time, the first time was in 2013. 

At the ceremony at Brdo pri Kranju, the recognition award was received on behalf of the company by Ksenija Butenko Černe, Head Legal and a member of the Board of Management of Lek. She said: »Lek, which is part of Novartis, is proud to have been chosen as the most reputable employer of the year, both in absolute as well as in a number of individual categories. This shows that in the year that is behind us, which was very challenging as we, as part of Novartis, are undergoing a series of transformations on the journey of a new strategy, managed to maintain and upgrade our role as a responsible employer. This acknowledgement is a proof that we succeeded, also through the transformation of Novartis culture, to create an environment for our associates where everyone is inspired, curious and unbossed.

Together we are achieving demanding goals and creating an inspiring working environment and organisational culture enabling each and every one to develop. We could not fulfil our mission without them, our motivated, committed and fulfilled associates, therefore thank you to all of them.
