Slovene and Macedonian artists for a new hospital in Skopje

- Yesterday evening a special charity took place in the hall of the Lek business premises, where Slovene and Macedonian artists donated their works to the new Čair Hospital for Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Skopje which will probably be built at the end of this year.

The collection of works of art was handed over by a painter Stojan Razmovski. It will embellish the premises of the new Č^air Hospital for Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Skopje. On behalf of the Hospital was the donation accepted by Assistant General Manager, Kiril Georgijev, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Culture, Blagoje Čorevski, and other esteemed guests. Kiril Georgijev thanked the artists and Lek for their assistance and expressed his hope for a continuation of a close cooperation into the third millenium as well.

Metod Dragonja, President of the Lek Board of Management, took this opportunity to thank the Ambassador of Macedonia to Slovenia, Dr. Dimitar Mirčev, whose mandate has recently expired, for a fruitful and friendly collaboration. Dr. Dimitar Mirčev in his response thanked Slovenia and Lek for an aid given to the healthcare of Macedonia during the time when it was especially necessary.

The event was enriched by the performance of sacral music by a renowned Macedonian women’s choir Sv. Zlata Meglenska from Skopje.
